I have\u00a0initiated\u00a0and contributed to several national and regional projects aimed at strengthening patient involvement, improving early detection, and ensuring better support services for cancer patients.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key initiatives include:\u00a0<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/raceofthecure.kosovo\/\"><em>Race for the Cure Kosovo<\/em> <\/a>\u2013 I lead the national implementation of this awareness and solidarity campaign in partnership with Think Pink Europe, engaging thousands of participants annually and increasing visibility for breast cancer in Kosovo.\u00a0<br><em>National Psychosocial Support Programme <\/em>(2025\u20132027) \u2013 I developed a comprehensive project\u00a0submitted\u00a0to the Ministry of Health to ensure accessible psychological support for breast cancer patients across Kosovo, including therapy services and professional training.\u00a0<br><em>\u201cFrym\u00ebmarrje\u00a0p\u00ebr\u00a0Jet\u00eb\u201d Lung Cancer Awareness Initiative <\/em>\u2013 I launched Kosovo\u2019s first NGO-led lung cancer awareness programme focusing on education, early detection, and partnerships with international stakeholders.\u00a0<br><em>WBF-funded Regional Patient Survey <\/em>(Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia) \u2013 I led the Kosovo\u00a0component\u00a0of a 150+ participant survey on breast cancer services and systemic challenges, contributing to evidence-based advocacy at regional level.\u00a0<br><em>National Breast &amp; Cervical Cancer Education Campaign<\/em> \u2013 I designed and implemented nationwide early detection activities, including community workshops, printed materials, and collaborations with municipalities.\u00a0<br><em>Translation &amp; Adaptation of Educational Materials <\/em>\u2013 I translated major cancer education resources (Know Your Lemons\u00ae, clinical trials modules, HTA and health economics presentations, patient surveys) into Albanian, Bosnian, and Turkish, enabling wider accessibility for patients.\u00a0<br>International Collaboration \u2013 I actively contribute within European advocacy networks (CPE, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abcglobalalliance.org\/\">ABC Global Alliance<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esmo.org\/\">ESMO<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/era4health.eu\/publications\/rri.php\">RRI,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eucapa.eu\/\">EUCAPA<\/a>, EUPATI) by sharing insights from Kosovo,\u00a0participating\u00a0in roundtables, and supporting cross-country initiatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across all these projects, my focus&nbsp;remains&nbsp;on empowering patients, strengthening health literacy, promoting early detection, and amplifying the voice of patients in decision-making.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the words of EUPATI Fellow Violeta&nbsp;Pirana&nbsp;&#8211; Cohort 6<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since completing my EUPATI training, I have continued to expand my role as a patient advocate and as the founder of RENESANSA \u2013 Women Association Fighting Breast Cancer in Kosovo.
